Edinburgh
Have to rain in the night another bright morning up nice and early to go to Edinburgh on the train arrive there just after nine and made our way to the hop on hop off sightseeing bus did the complete journey which took about 1 1/2 hours we stayed on the bus and got off near the castle had a wander round that area then got back on to the National Museum of Scotland we had a drink as soon as we got in there the best hot chocolate ever what a great museum we spent about three hours in there and could’ve been in there a lot longer but we wanted to see a bit more of the city back on the bus and off to the next stop we had a look at the Museum of childhood and the Museum of Edinburgh back on the bus to the end that WaverlyThen we walk to Kosmos for something to eat before heading back to the station to catch the 8:02 train back

Chillingham Castle & Alnwick
After a rainy night the sunshine when we got up after a lazy start we decided to go to Gillingham Castle nice place but really strange can’t explain it. The gardens look lovely from the rooftop but not so impressive when you got down to them we then went to the White Swan in Alnwick for afternoon tea not quite as good as two years ago but still lovely we then headed back to the caravan and as it was now raining had a night in chilling again

Ford, Heatherslaw, Etal & Flodden Field
Nice and sunny this morning and an early start as we were going to Edinburgh on the train when we got to bury tickets were going to cost three times as much as the online price so we went back to the caravan and book tickets for Thursday after a cuppa and a gammon sandwich we went to Ford a pretty little village where we had a wander and a look around the church lovely castle there but not open to the public we then went to heathers law had a look around the mail before catching the light railway to at all look around the English Heritage gas all them had a walk through the village stopping to have a cuppa tea at the lavender two rooms then we walked down to look at the river before catching the train back to heathers law we then drove to flood in battlefield where the bloodiest conflict ever to take place in the borderlands where a king and 14,000 men died in a battle within the space of a few hoursWe then headed back and went to the Royal Garden Chinese buffet on the side and back to the caravan for a well and rest

Bamburgh & Bamburgh Castle
Show me start to the day after breakfast we went to Bamburgh Castle where we spent a good three hours beautiful views of the coastline Lindisfarne and the Farnham Islands after we went to the great Dawley museum she was a very brave woman we wandered across to the church where there is a beautiful memorial in the graveyard lovely little church had a wander round ending with an ice cream from the pantry which is the house where she died just before her 27th birthday then had a ride to Seahouses for a bag of chips and a ride along the coast to Beadnell before heading back.

Berwick Upon Tweed
Weather not too brilliant today sunshine but more showers had a ride to Berwick and I wander round then we went to have a look at Spittal Beach Then on to Cocklawburn beach where we had a nice ice cream and then headed back to the caravan

Hagerston Castle
Left Mara leave at about 830 to set off for Haggerston Castle Holiday Park stop for breakfast at the Highwayman at Doncaster then carried on our journey up north good journey and arrived at about 215 after setting up we had a wander to look at the facilities after having a cider in the mash and barrel we walk down past the lake to see where the Chinese restaurant was and then stroll back to the caravan for a bite to eat and chill for the rest of the evening
