Ford, Heatherslaw, Etal & Flodden Field

Nice and sunny this morning and an early start as we were going to Edinburgh on the train when we got to bury tickets were going to cost three times as much as the online price so we went back to the caravan and book tickets for Thursday after a cuppa and a gammon sandwich we went to Ford a pretty little village where we had a wander and a look around the church lovely castle there but not open to the public we then went to heathers law had a look around the mail before catching the light railway to at all look around the English Heritage gas all them had a walk through the village stopping to have a cuppa tea at the lavender two rooms then we walked down to look at the river before catching the train back to heathers law we then drove to flood in battlefield where the bloodiest conflict ever to take place in the borderlands where a king and 14,000 men died in a battle within the space of a few hoursWe then headed back and went to the Royal Garden Chinese buffet on the side and back to the caravan for a well and rest
