Netherwood Touring Site nr Chester

Woke up around 9 am after a very good night's sleep. The sun was out and it looked like being a good day. After our usual cooked breakfast we hopped on the bikes and rode the 5 miles to The Ice cream Farm at . The first 4.5 miles is along the Shropshire Union Canal Towpath, although after a mile or so the Towpath turns to grass, which made it much harder going. Where the

By now the sun was nice and hot and the Ice Cream Park was exceptionally busy. The Ice cream Farm offers 43 flavours of ice cream plus 4 sorbets and 4 or 5 daily special flavours. There are also lots of things for younger kids to do, some indoors in case of wet weather. We had a lovely giant waffle cone with 4 scoops of ice cream for £5.75. We had a short walk around attractions and headed off back to the Caravan.
